The main difference in active and passive RFID is that active tags use a battery power source to broadcast their signal automatically, and a passive RFID tag does not have any power source. Passive tags only transmit RFID signals when receiving a radio frequency energy from an RFID reader that is within range.Passive RFID readers have a power source — usually AC Power, Power over Ethernet (PoE), or battery. They also have data communication capabilities such as Ethernet, WiFi, or cellular, and they can be assigned an IP address.
The UHF high-power reader has a high sensitivity of read and write performance and a fast anti- collision processing algorithm, and can read the tag speed of up to 90 pieces / s.The product supports electronic labels from multiple vendors that meet the ISO 18000-6C / EPC Gen 2 standard.
